Hollister Senior Center – Swedish Weaving Class

The cost is $5.00 per month or $2.00 per day, plus the cost of the materials needed (monk cloth, 4-ply yarn, needles, and safety pins). Instructor – Shelly.
Swedish Weaving is a unique class, where you are able to create using yarn. These make great gifts for birthdays, holidays, or special occasions.
Examples of what can be made during class are couch throws, baby blankets, pillows, wall hangings, pictures, and table linens using yarn and monk’s cloth.
No experience is needed. This great group of ladies are well versed in the knowledge of how to do this. They are always willing to help you get started or help any way they can!
